Memorial Day is a U.S. federal holiday set on the last Monday in May that commemorates the lives given in service to our country. Many people honor this holiday by visiting cemeteries and memorials.
It's also a day of picnics and family fun all over the country.
Today Mr.W is off from work and we're doing some things around the house. We plan to grill outside later on, since the weather has finally warmed up. I'm not sure yet what we'll be eating, though. Besides burnt offerings, I'm thinking grilled potatoes and a salad.
