As I've mentioned before, Mr.W has a group of guy-friends who get together every other Sunday to hang out, have guy-time, and play various games. Now this event often happens in our basement, but also travels about to the homes of some of the other men, as well.
Occasionally the whole group gets together with wives, significant others and children for some family fun time. Yesterday we met at East Dynasty Buffet in New Hartford, NY for our holiday gathering.
There were three people missing from the above photo--me, because I was taking the picture, our friend A, who was unable to attend, and one of our more petite friends, who was there but somehow left out of the group photo. Miss M is pictured below.
I'm so glad that the restaurant put us in a more private back room so that we could be as loud and rowdy as we wanted to without bothering too many of the other patrons. Of all the Chinese buffets in the area, I like this one the best. I have four reasons for this:
(a) Price. Around $10 per person is the dinner/weekend price. It's less to go for lunch Monday thru Friday.
(b) Excellent variety, including a sushi bar and mongolian bbq in the back.
(c) Service is quite good.
(d) Very clean.
A fun time was had by all!

I haven't been to that restaurant since it used to be... Stacy's, was it? Probably going back a good ten years... the price sounds great!
